The white t features our proud Rebel Roots logo and reads

"MARSHA P. JOHNSON WAS AT THE FOREFRONT OF THE STONEWALL RIOTS IN 1969. AS A BLACK TRANSGENDER WOMEN IN NEW YORK CITY DURING THE 60’S, SHE HAD TO FIGHT TO CLAIM HER SPACE, NOT ONLY IN SOCIETY BUT IN LGBTQ SPACES AS WELL. HER PERSISTENCE IN DEMANDING ADMITTANCE INTO THE STONEWALL INN, A BAR THAT ORIGINALLY ONLY SERVED GAY MEN, EVENTUALLY RESULTED IN THE BAR OPENING UP TO WOMEN AND DRAG QUEENS. HER ADVOCACY AND PERSEVERANCE WAS KINDLING TO THE STONEWALL RIOTS, MAKING MARSHA P JOHNSON A VANGUARD FOR LGBTQ RIGHTS."
